BMW R 1300 GS Adventure : BMW Motorrad has given a big gift to adventure bike enthusiasts by launching the R 1300 GS Adventure at the India Mobility Global Expo.

Customers can buy this adventure bike for Rs 22.95 lakh (ex-showroom). With this launch, the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure has become the biggest ADV (adventure) bike to be introduced in India. Let’s take a look at its features.

Features of BMW R 1300 GS Adventure

The new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure has been made more touring and adventurous than before. It has got many new upgrades compared to the standard model.

Talking about the major changes compared to the standard model, it has been given a revised chassis, new sheet metal shell steel mainframe, and aluminium lattice tube rear subframe.

Also, its rear has been given an ADV design.

Features and Specifications

The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure gets a large 30-litre fuel tank with Electronic Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) and 4 riding modes.

Also, this ADV offers advanced features like all-LED lighting, dynamic cruise control with braking function, a new 6.5-inch TFT screen, keyless ride, and heated grips.

Engine and Performance

The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure gets a powerful boxer twin engine with a 1300 cc capacity. This powertrain is capable of producing 145 bhp of power at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Riders will be able to drive it with four riding modes – Eco, Rain, Road, and Enduro.

Options for every rider

The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure can be purchased in a total of four variants – Basic, Triple Black, GS Trophy, and Option 719 Karakoram.

In the Indian market, this ADV bike will compete with the Ducati Multistrand V4 Rally and other products in the segment. It will prove to be a better option for those who want to do off-roading.
