Revolt RV1: No need to worry about budget, mileage, and servicing at all. Now you can bring home a killer bike that will let you travel 1 kilometre in just 18 paise.

This bike is not only extremely economical, but it is also easy to maintain. Instead of worrying about rising petrol prices and expensive servicing costs, you can now travel long distances with an electric bike, that too at a low cost.

1 kilometre for just 18 paise

If you charge an electric scooter at a public charging station in Delhi, you have to pay between Rs 4.5 and Rs 8 per kilowatt hour (kWh). Now suppose your bike has a 2.2 kWh battery and its range is 100 kilometers.

So, if we look at Rs 4.5 per kWh, the cost of charging the entire battery will be around Rs 9.9. Now, dividing this Rs 9.9 by the range of 100 km, the cost per kilometre will be Rs 0.099 i.e. about 10 paise.

At the same time, if we charge at the rate of Rs 8 per kWh, then the cost of charging the entire battery will be Rs 17.6. According to this, the cost per kilometre will be Rs 0.176 i.e. about 18 paise.

Here we are talking about the electric bike ‘Revolt RV1 STD’, whose ex-showroom price is Rs 84,990 in Delhi. The company has introduced it in another variant – ‘Revolt RV1 PLUS’, in which its range is even higher.
