Honda CB1000 Hornet : A Perfect Blend of Style, Performance, and Technology
The 2025 Honda CB1000 Hornet has made its debut in the UK, adding a new option to the litre-class naked streetfighter segment. This model comes in two variants – the standard and SP, offering both versatility and advanced features.
Competing directly with rivals like the Suzuki GSX-S1000 and Yamaha MT-10, the new CB1000 Hornet emphasizes power, performance, and modern technology.
2025 Honda CB1000 Hornet Specification
The Honda CB1000 Hornet is powered by a 999cc in-line four-cylinder engine derived from the Fireblade series. This engine, detuned from the 2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, delivers 150bhp at 11,000rpm and 104Nm of torque at 9,000rpm.
However, the SP variant offers a slight boost, generating 155bhp and 107Nm of torque. Honda’s engineers have tuned the engine for better performance in the low and mid-range, ensuring a smoother power delivery compared to the Fireblade.
2025 Honda CB1000 Hornet Features
The motorcycle includes three preset ride modes – Rain, Standard, and Sport – to suit various riding conditions. Additionally, two customizable ‘User’ modes allow riders to fine-tune power output, traction
control, and engine braking according to their preferences. The CB1000 Hornet is equipped with a colour TFT display, a Bluetooth-enabled system, and a modern LED projector headlamp for enhanced visibility.

The SP variant of the CB1000 Hornet stands out with high-end components, including Öhlins TTX36 rear monoshock, fully adjustable Showa front forks, and Brembo Stylema front brake callipers.
Its design draws inspiration from the Ducati Streetfighter V4, giving it an aggressive and sporty look.
These features make the SP version more suitable for riders seeking enhanced control and performance on the road.
