One of the upcoming electric SUVs, the Mahindra XUV.e9, is not the electric counterpart of any existing model. It will feature a coupe-like design language with a 5-seat configuration.

The EVs will be high-tech and feature loaded

The specifications of the upcoming Mahindra EVs are yet to be revealed. However, the company has confirmed that the upcoming electric SUV will feature a battery pack of up to 80kWh that will deliver power between 230bhp to 350bhp.

The range is expected to be around 500km or more on a single charge.All the upcoming Mahindra EVs will come with an AWD (all-wheel drive) setup.

Mahindra XUV.e8 Mahindra’s upcoming first electric SUV XUV.e8 will be similar to its concept, including a closed-off front grille, a full-width LED light bar extending down into the bumper, LED headlamps integrated into the bumper, and a sharply contoured bonnet.

The rear of the Mahindra XUV.e8 will be similar to its ICE-powered counterpart XUV700. In terms of dimensions, the XUV.e8 will be 45mm longer, 10mm wider, and 5mm taller than the XUV700, along with a 7mm longer wheelbase.

Its overall length, width, and height will be similar to the XUV.e8 concept, which is 4740mm, 1900mm, and 1760mm, respectively.

Mahindra XUV.e9

One of the upcoming electric SUVs, the Mahindra XUV.e9 is not the electric counterpart of any existing model. It will have a coupe-like design language with a 5-seat configuration.

The XUV.e9 is likely to share the electric powertrain with the XUV.e8. Some of its key highlights will include a closed grille, bumper-mounted headlamps, LED lighting elements, gloss black cladding around the body and a stubby tail section.
