Samsung's New Offerings: M55s and A16 5G Detailed Comparison

Samsung is working on several new entry-level and mid-range smartphones. Today, the first glimpse of the Galaxy M55s and Galaxy A16 5G has appeared.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G is likely to launch soon, as leaked renders and key features of the handset have surfaced online. The phone is said to be similar to the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G, which was launched in India in April this year.

The rear panel of the phone appears to have a dual-tone, glossy finish. There are three cameras on the top left side of the back.

According to the leaked render, the power button and volume rocker of the Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G are seen on the right side of the handset.

The SIM tray is expected to be on the left edge of the phone. The report suggests that the phone will get a plastic chassis.

According to a report by Smartprix, the Samsung Galaxy 55s 5G may launch in late September or early October, and its price may be between Rs 27,000 and Rs 30,000.

Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G features (expected)

The Samsung Galaxy M55s 5G is expected to have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. This is the same processor that powers the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy F55 5G handsets. According to the report, the Galaxy M55s 5G base version will support 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

Storage can be expanded up to 1 TB via microSD card. It is expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED Plus display.

Details of the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G

The Galaxy A16 5G will be an entry-level smartphone whose renders have been revealed by Android Headlines.

The phone will have a triple camera ring with a glossy finish at the back. Samsung calls it the “Key Island” design. On the front, the screen has a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera.

The leak doesn’t reveal anything about the phone’s specifications. But it is expected to have a 5000mAh battery. The phone is also rumored to have a 50 MP primary camera, a 5 MP secondary camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 13 MP selfie sensor. The Samsung Galaxy A16 is rumored to launch in December.
