VinFast's Electric SUV a Hit: Over 27,000 Pre-Orders in 66 Hours

Bookings for the EV began earlier this month and Vinfast claims to have received over 27,000 pre-orders in just 66 hours.

Vinfast VF3 Powertrain, Range

The two-door and four-seater VF 3 measures 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width, 1,622mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,075mm. Despite its compact size, Vinfast is calling it a ‘mini-SUV’. This is because the VF 3 is smaller than India’s smallest electric car, the MG Comet EV. The VF 3 has a ground clearance of 191mm and will be available with optional 16-inch alloy wheels.

VinFast VF3 price and competition in India

The VinFast VF 3 is priced at VND 322 million (with battery), which is approximately Rs 10.54 lakh. The company is also offering the car without the battery pack for VND 240 million (Rs 7.86 lakh). Customers choosing the second option can opt for a battery pack subscription plan.
