Ather Rizta prices are going to increase
If you are thinking of buying Ather’s family-focused electric scooter Rizta, then decide soon. From January 1, 2024, its prices are going to increase by Rs 4,000 to Rs 6,000. This change will be applicable to all three variants of Rizta.
Currently, the starting price of its base model is Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Ather has taken this step to maintain its premium positioning.
Rizta variants and their prices
The Ather Rizta comes in three variants:
The S variant is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Z 2.9kWh variant is priced at Rs 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Z 3.7kWh variant is priced at Rs 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom).
Apart from these, a Pro Pack is also available for each variant, which unlocks all the features of the scooter. This pack is priced at Rs 13,000 for the S model, Rs 15,000 for the Z 2.9kWh, and Rs 20,000 for the Z 3.7kWh.
Rizta comes with new features
The Ather Rizta has been introduced as a practical alternative to their sporty 450 models. It retains the battery and motor from the previous models.
But it adds advanced features like “Magic Twist” regenerative braking, which is taken from Ather’s flagship 450 Apex model.
Ather’s distinct identity in the premium market
After the price hike, the Rizta will differentiate itself from budget electric scooters from brands like Bajaj, TVS, and Hero.
Ather has always positioned its products for the premium market, allowing it to maintain its special identity in the Indian electric two-wheeler market.
