Reports suggest that Vinfast plans to begin manufacturing this model locally once its factory in Tamil Nadu is operational.
The Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer is gearing up to launch its electric cars in India, with the VF3 mini SUV positioned as its most compact offering. This micro SUV aims to boost market presence, combining its small size with electric efficiency.
Car specifications
Measuring just 3190 mm in length and featuring a wheelbase of 2075 mm, the VF3 is designed for urban maneuverability. Its appealing design aligns perfectly with the SUV aesthetic.
Under the hood, it boasts an electric motor that produces 43.5 horsepower and 110Nm of torque, powered by an 18.64 kWh lithium-ion battery that provides a range of approximately 210 kilometers on a single charge.
Notable features
The vehicle is equipped with a large touchscreen that manages most functions, and while the boot space is somewhat limited, the rear seating area offers ample room for passengers, ensuring a comfortable ride.
Currently, the VF3 is being hailed as the most compact and visually striking electric SUV showcased at the Auto Expo 2025.
Initially, Vinfast will introduce its larger, premium models to the Indian market as Completely Built Units (CBUs), but once production begins at its factory, the company is expected to roll out smaller, more affordable SUVs as well.
