Oppo Reno 12 Series: Selfie Superstar with a 50MP Front Camera

Oppo Reno 12 : Oppo has launched its much-awaited Reno 12 series for its customers in the market on Thursday. Under the Reno 12 series, two new smartphones, the Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro, have been launched, which come with great specifications, a powerful camera, and a 50MP front camera.

Here are the key features of these smartphones, so let’s take a look:

Display

The phone has a 6.7-inch full-HD + 1.5K (2,772 x 1,240 pixels) curved OLED screen, which comes with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

Processor

The MediaTek Dimensity 8250 Star Speed Edition chip has been used in the Oppo Reno 12 smartphone, while the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition chip has been used in the Oppo Reno 12 Pro smartphone.

RAM and Storage

The smartphone comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.

Operating System

Both smartphone works on Android 14-based ColorOS 14.

Camera:

The smartphone sports a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera (20x digital zoom), and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter. Front Camera: A 50-megapixel front camera has been provided for selfie lovers.

Battery

The phone has a 5,000mAh battery for power backup, which supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.Let us tell you that the phone has just been launched in the Chinese market; information about when it will be launched in India has not been revealed.

Both smartphones are currently available for pre-order in China via the official Oppo website and other online retailers. The sale of the phone will start in the country on May 31.

The vanilla Oppo Reno 12 is offered in Ebony Black, Millennium Silver, and Soft Peach colour options. Reno 12 Pro has been launched with Champagne Gold, Ebony Black, and Silver Magic Purple colour options.
